Celebrate skating and hockey with us

Recreation's centennial year kicked off on January 1, 2012 with a celebration of hockey at Olympic Plaza. Calgarians were invited to join us for a pancake breakfast, public skating, hockey skill competitions and demonstrations.

Thanks to all the volunteers and participants who helped us kick-start our 100th birthday in style. The celebrations continue all year long - find out what events are happening now!

Below are some photos and videos from the Hockey in Calgary event.
